Aspinwall Neighbors is a 100% volunteer-led nonprofit community organization that brings together residents of all ages in support of building a thriving local community that is welcome to all. Our programming and events connect local residents and volunteers with community-building opportunities throughout the Borough of Aspinwall.
What We Do
Foster Local Connections
We connect Aspinwall residents through community support programs and events. Our Neighbor-to-Neighbor programs, like Soup Delivery and Snow Angels, help seniors and neighbors recovering from loss or surgery in the winter months.
We also bring the community together with events like Aspinwall’s Big Night Out and through partnerships with local business groups. Whether lending a hand or making new connections, there’s a place for everyone at Aspinwall Neighbors!
Enable Sustainability
We promote environmental responsibility in Aspinwall through green initiatives like WALLStars, Green Streets, the Alley A Rain Garden, and new this year – the Commercial Avenue Butterfly Garden.
From beautifying public spaces to implementing eco-friendly projects, we empower neighbors to make a lasting impact on our community and the planet.
Empower Community Voices
We empower Aspinwall residents to shape our community by amplifying voices and ideas.
Our Community Grants program funds local projects that enhance and enrich our town, giving neighbors the opportunity to make a direct impact. We also celebrate shared spaces through initiatives like the Love, Aspinwall public art project, fostering connection and creativity.
