Join us Thursday, August 7 for Aspinwall’s Big Night out, a celebration of our community and the people, businesses, and organizations that make it unique.
The event is free to attend, and designed to bring together friends, families and neighbors for an unforgettable evening of entertainment, education and fun for all ages.
Event Highlights
- Live Music: Local band Woodland Creatures takes the main stage at 7pm!
- Family-Friendly Activities: There will be activities to entertain and engage neighbors of all ages.
- Community Engagement: Meet and mingle with fellow residents, local leaders, and community organizations to learn more about what makes Aspinwall such a special place to live, work and visit.
- Neighborhood Lounge: 21+ Neighbors can enjoy local alcoholic beverage samples in a dedicated area (proof of ID required).
Food Options
Aspinwall Neighbors will provide free snacks – cotton candy, popcorn and cookies while supplies last.
Additional food will be available for purchase from local restaurants. Check our Instagram for announcements and menu reveals. Guests are also welcome to pack a picnic dinner.
Zero Waste Initiative
In partnership with the Pennsylvania Resources Council (PRC) and the Borough of Aspinwall, Aspinwall Neighbors is striving to make this a zero waste event. This will be the fourth year that the event has partnered with PRC. Aspinwall Neighbors encourages all attendees to bring a refillable water bottle and use reusable materials if packing a picnic to help achieve the goal of diverting 90% of waste, the amount needed to be considered officially “zero waste.” A water refill station provided by PWSA will be available on-site. Together, attendees can minimize their environmental impact and promote sustainability.
